Hi Frank,

Thanks for the quite lengthly and accurate desciption of the NTSC
television format ;)  It is exactly as I remember learning it some 14
years ago ;)  If you take a second to re-read my original post, you will
find that I said "But since these images are meant to be viewed at 30
**FRAMES** per second" . . .

My original point, was that since the human eye cannot detect an on to
off sequence of light (or image) which is faster than one tenth of a
second, the 30 frames (60 fields) per second is ample "sampling rate" to
infer a continous flow of visual information.  And this being the case,
the apparent RESOLUTION of the FR image (when viewed at full speed) will
not be much different from the image you get from non-FR rendereds.  Of
course there are exceptions to everything, and in this case the exception
is the fact that motion artifacting will tend to outweigh the motion
antialiasing the closer an object gets to the camera and the faster it
travels horizontally.
